Niall Horan might be very quiet concerning the details of his romantic life, but it seems that the One Direction star might have been caught red handed with a girlfriend. Demi Lovato and Niall went to get a bite to eat right after the MTV VMAs, according to Us Weekly, and Niall hasn’t exactly been silent about how much he admires the young singer / actress.

Niall might have denied having a relationship with Demi in the past, but he went on to add, “I wish!” when asked if they were dating. When it was speculated earlier in the year about whether they were in a relationship, both of them denied it, but they also confessed that they had crushes on each other. Could these crushes have turned into a full blown romance? Demi has stated, “I would snog Niall. I do have a little crush on him.” Among other comments such as, “I love Niall, he is so cute. I hear he’s really sweet and he’s a cutey pie!”

On the other hand, Niall has often made comments about Demi Lovato being his celebrity crush. Only recently he was asked to choose between her and Kim Kardashian and he chose Demi – if this is love, it must be real! While the world will have to wait to find out whether Niall and Demi are actually a twosome, a source recently spoke to HollywoodLife.com, telling them that while they are not officially a couple quite yet, “it’s only a matter of time” before they start dating.
